A free two-hour webinar on Supplemental Instruction (SI), a high impact practice many of ourĀ  campuses are using to make significant progress toward the goals of Graduation Initiative 2025. The webinar will begin with a keynote address from Dr. Julie Collins, Executive Director of The
International Center for Supplemental Instruction, based at University of Missouri-Kansas City,
the founding institution for Supplemental Instruction. In addition, we will have presentations
from some of our award-winning CSU campus SI programs who will describe effective SI
implementation and outcomes, including extensive data demonstrating significant impacts on
student success. Each presentation will include time for participant questions.
The Supplemental Instruction webinar will:

  • Provide a framework of successful SI as a significant learning support program
  • Inform campuses as to planning, progress, and assessment of SI effectiveness
  • Showcase data and the impact of mature CSU SI programs
  • Provide resources and networking through an ongoing CSU SI community
