ESCALA Poster/Presentation Showcase

A collection of student inquiry projects by Humboldt faculty and staff who completed the 27 hour ESCALA Certification in College Teaching and Learning in Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs). Of the 44 Humboldt faculty and staff who have participated in the program focused on culturally relevant pedagogical teaching practices, 24 have completed their certificate and an additional nine are in the process. This professional development opportunity was supported by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Inclusive Excellence Program Award #52008703 and a US Department of Education under the Hispanic Serving Institutions STEM Grant #P031C150193.
