How to Use Item Banks With New Quizzes
Introduction
Unlike with Question Banks, questions created in New Quizzes are not automatically added to an Item Bank. You will need to manually add questions to an item bank. Item banks can be curated and shared between classes and instructors. Using item banks, you can have Canvas select random questions from a specific bank and insert them into a quiz.

NOTE: for greatest flexibility, create one item bank for each standard/outcome that will be measured. Then create a quiz that pulls questions from one or more item banks.
